PWM-40 is a series of 40W LED drivers. The products are manufactured by Mean Well, a supplier which is known for its reliable, high-quality solutions. In this case, the manufacturer guarantees a typical service life of 50000h.
The drivers feature a PWM signal at the output, which is a unique property in the case of such devices. It reaches a frequency of 1.47kHz. This makes it possible to precisely control the intensity and colour temperature of the powered LEDs. The duty cycle can be controlled in 3 ways: using a: 0-10 VDC voltage signal, a 10V DC PWM signal or resistance. Furthermore, the drivers provide the PFC, or Power Factor Correction.
